2010 North Texas Chapter officers:
NTC Chapter Meeting April 23rd
The North Texas Chapter of HFES will be hosting students
from the Texas Tech University HFES student chapter on April
23rd. On Friday afternoon, NTC-HFES chapter members will
give presentations to the students to give them an overview
of the Human Factors and Ergonomics professions. These
presentations may be of interest to Human Factors and
Ergonomics professionals in the area so you are also
welcome to attend.
This would be a good opportunity learn about Texas Tech
and learn more about ergonomics related activities in the
DFW area. Representatives from the following companies will
present some of their work. Abbott Laboratories, Boeing, SA
Technologies, and Texas Instruments.
Date: Friday, April 23rd,
Time: 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm
Location: Texins Activity Center, 13900 N. Central
Expressway, Dallas, TX 75243
Meeting Room: CR3 (turn to your immediate right at the
entrance)
Directions: The Texins Activity Center is located at the North
end of the TI North Campus which is situated in the north-
east corner of the I-635 LBJ-75 North Central Expressway
High-5 intersection, just south of Spring Creek road. The site
can be entered from gates 1 and 3 on the 635 service road or
gate 6 on TI Boulevard. You will need to show your driver’s
license to the guard to gain entry.

Chapter Member Survey "Persona" Presentation
- Results of the Chapter survey are used to create a summarized
"persona" of our membership. Ken Maxwell presented this
illuminating perspective at the April 16 chapter meeting.
- Results of the comprehensive chapter survey completed on March
13th are now available for download and review here. Thanks to
all who participated! Results are informative and interesting, and
in a very well presented and user-friendly report prepared as a
PDF by Ken Maxwell. Complete response results for every survey
question are provided in the Supplemental Survey Results Report
